SAFETY AND HYGIENE MEASURES
At Udiversity, we have a strict rule for kitchen attire because we believe food safety
and proper hygiene are key to working in a functional kitchen.
Face Mask
Medical face masks are required for all participants in our culinary training for disabilities. Safety first, always.
Sanitation & Cleaning
At our culinary training facility for disabilities, sanitation is a daily priority. We ensure proper hand washing and sanitizing protocols are followed diligently in the kitchen before and after each task.
Apron
Adding an apron over your jacket enhances safety during culinary training for disabilities. This extra layer of protection shields against hot liquids, foods, and equipment, especially crucial during food packaging for special needs.
Hair Nets
Hair nets are essential in our culinary practices to prevent loose hair from contaminating food.
Arm Sleeves
Wearing arm sleeves covering both full arms is mandatory in our culinary safe practices to maintain hygiene standards.
Gloves
Using gloves is mandatory to reduce the risk of cross contamination and to serve as a barrier between
ready-to-eat food and bare skin contact.
